A properly built retaining wall can last 20 to 40 years or more. The key is engineering — correct footing depth, adequate drainage behind the wall, and block or stone installed to spec. Sta-Built builds every wall to outlast the warranty.
A garden wall is a low decorative wall used to define planting beds, frame a landscape, or add structure and character to a yard. Unlike retaining walls, they’re not load-bearing — but they still need to be built right to stay level and stable long-term.
A seat wall is a low wall built around a patio or firepit area that doubles as permanent seating. Typically 18–24 inches tall, they eliminate the need for chairs, add structure to an outdoor space, and look great with or without a cap stone.
