The Sta-Built Paver Process
Every walkway follows the same proven process. No shortcuts.
Excavate & Compact
We dig 7 inches deep and mechanically compact the native subgrade. Every layer above depends on this one.
Install Base Layers
Woven geotextile fabric goes down first, then 4 inches of crushed rock compacted in lifts. This is what carries load and handles drainage for decades.
Screed Bedding Sand
1 inch of bedding sand screeded perfectly flat. This layer sets the finished surface elevation and gives every paver a stable seat.
Set Pavers
Pavers are set using the Sta-Built bond beam method — every unit at the same height, consistent joint spacing throughout.
Compact, Sand & Finish
Plate compactor runs the full surface. Polymeric joint sand is swept into every joint, locking pavers together and resisting weeds. We inspect before we leave.
